two studio displays

as of right now, i have one 17" studio display hooked up to my g4.
would it be possible to hook another 17" up? i really have been trying to think of ways to do this but i have not been able to...is it possible?

I think so, but you won't be able to have the laptop open. It's in the manual, I just can't remember exactly what it says.

i have the adaptor so i can use my studio display right now, how exaclty would i go about adding another screen, because there is no more space for another adapter
