Hello all, im new here but i had a question for anyone who might have some experience, advice or knowledge in the area.
Ive recently been looking at the new OS Leopard 10.5. And i must admit from the surface everything looks fine and dandy; But once i began actually looking into the OS i was looking to upgrade to, i couldn't help but notice a one too many coincidences with Leopard and glitch's, error's and reliability. Im currently running an IMac, Mac OS X 10.3.9 so this would be skipping Tiger altogether. 1.8 GHz Processor, Power PC G5. I do have Application Enhancers, Photoshop, Flash and Dreamweaver; I guess the question i am shaping too, is has anyone who has an Imac G5 with similar specs, actually installed Mac OS x Leopard 10.5 Update without any problems? And if you have had some could you perhaps give me an idea about some of the potential problems i might face? Ive heard several complaints about 10.5 actually effecting some programs specifically (ie Photoshop etc) I tried to contact a Mac Specialist to inquire, but i spent 2 hours on the phone to talk to a voice synthesized AI babble about Blue Screens.
Any info or help would be most appreciated. Thank you in advance.
