Hi- this is my first forum post ever, so please excuse any mistakes!
I've just got a new iMac and (already have an iBook G4) and so decided to get a wireless router. I got it set up and the connection speed seems to be great. Google, BBC, Apple Trailers... etc are all impressively quick to load. However, hotmail, yahoo, and gmail (all the email providers my boyfriend and I use) all refuse to load.
It doesn't seem to matter if I use Firefox (my usual) or Safari. It also seems to happen when I'm wired with the new router as well. Does this just mean the router is incompatible? (it's from TalkTalk, an EchoLife HG520s) and comes with a booklet that claims it is Mac-friendly).
I'm baffled. If anyone has experienced this before, misery loves company. But all possible solutions are also welcome!
