Not able to download files from any browser???

i cannot download files from any browser, firefox, safari etc..


it will just open a new page and have the file w/ its extension but the page will be blank and just stall/idle there.. i guess its something on my system preferences that got out of whack... b/c if it was the javascript it would e only on one browser right? anyonoe have this problem before

Are you sure the files are not being downloaded to the download folder?

First do a check of Home > Documents or Downloads and see if you can find anything there.

Do you have a manager such as Speed Download installed which will have its own folder in Documents?

yes i actually do, but nothing is in it...and when i click on any download link it will open the new tab in FF and act like its trying to connect.. so strange..

im really sick of d/lin on my pc and dropping it thru the network.

Browser Issue..??

all my browsers, firefox, safari, opera.. all of them will not download files from the internet.. it attempts to open another tab and just stalls out... what can i do to make it download? they are not goingg to my downloads folder either

nope didn't work, i tried safari and it only opened a new window for the download and just stalled there, 3/4 of the url bar became blue like it was going to attempt then just quit....

sounds like a network problem.

well there are 8 other people on this network and they can all download, thats the thing i don't understand

im haveing a download thing to i can download but when i go click on icon it made to install/use it opens in disk utility,something i havent slightest idea how to use
