iPhoto Library Disappeared

I opened iPhoto today and got a messange that said my iPhoto Library could not be found and it asked me to locate it. I clicked locate and to my amazement my iPhoto folder is gone. I looked in finder and it was not there.

is there something I can do to get it back?

Are your Music and other files and Applications all still there?

yes, it seems that the only thing missing is my iphoto folder.

lost iPhoto too - perplexing

Same thing happened to me last night! it says I have to search for the library then when you locate iPhoto in applications it is greyed out. All the photos are still in the User/library/pictures section
My photos are a business tool for me, I am perplexed

yes all other applications appear to be functioning EXCEPT Finder!! that little wheel just keeps a spinning with no answers to any search subjects - not sure if this is connected or an unrelated issue
