Little Help :)

I recently invested in a second Mac and my brother took the computer off my hands, however the computer isnt wireless so to get the internet working for him, will we need to buy a cable that runs from my bedroom (where the router is) to his bedroom or is there some sort of device that can transmit the signal, catch it and then be plugged into his computer in his bedroom, maybe even a second router?
