I have a Sharp Aquos HD LCD, and I have the Mini DVI to Regular DVI adapter, along with the DVI to HDMI cable. I tried connecting it all up, and it came out to be two separate monitors, so I could drag stuff from one, to the other. What I want to do is, make the 32'' the main monitor. The max and supported Resolution is 1266 x 768.

Any help would be great.

Thanks.

Go to System Preferences > Displays > Arrangement. There should be two blue rectangles and one has a gray bar at the top. Move the gray bar to the other screen and that should move the menu and everything to the TV.
You can move the blue rectangles around to fit your setup.
If you want to move an app from one screen to the other, just drag it.
