Hi Guys,

First I would just like to say I'm a new user to the world of Mac and I love it!

It's a strange thing, when I turn on my macbook I get an icon of a macbook with an arrow below it. I click the arrow then it boots up.

This doesn't appear all the time and I was just wondering if there is a reason for this?

Thanks!

Your Mac's Specs
iMac Core Duo 20", iBook G4, iPhone 8GB :)
You could either be pressing the Option key or the Menu button on the remote. Both these bring up the "choose startup disk" menu where you can select whichever disk you want to boot from. Since you have only one bootable disk, it's showing you just that.

I wouldn't worry about it.
