I am using my MacMini on my big screen TV as a media center in a headless environment. Occasionally I want to access the Mini with keyboard commands. Right now I plug a keyboard and mouse into the mini, but the problem is that I am too close to the screen to actually use it. I would love to have a wireless keyboard with a pointer device (trackball/pad, etc.) that I could use from the couch.

Any recomendations? I know there are lots of wireless keyboard and mouse packages you can get, but I'd really prefer to have 1 integrated unit.

Thanks - Chi2Flat!!!!

Depends on how much your willing to spend, if you're willing to spend the cash I have two really good products.

Spend ???

I'd like to keep it between 100 and 150. I guess 200 would be my limit

I use the Mini in the same way, and I would not trade the Apple BT keyboard and mouse for anything in the world... it's just perfect for sofa-surfing ;)

Really wanted an all in one

Thanks for the feedback - I was really hoping to get a trackpad or pointing stick on the keyboard however. My wife already hates the remote mess I have going on - also, I really don't have a great surface to use the mouse.

Maybe something like this does not exist for a mac?

That was one ugly keyboard... but if you read the review, he has actually tested it on a iMac ;)

Nice setup

TopDog - I forgot to comment on your nice set-up...Looks sweet

As for the article itself, I didn't read it too carefully - the content was somewhat sarcastic and not really my cup of tea....but I guess both of you are correct, that it was used with a mac.

any better alteratives, or should I just go down that route?
