Ok, I have been searching and reading for about two hours now. So hopefully this hasn't been covered before. Sorry if it has.

I am trying to download WOW. It is installing extremely slow. It says at the bottom that "Your computer appears to be behind a firewall".

I have followed the steps to try and allow access and tried going into my router to allow access also.

My screens do not match up with the ones I am reading. The layouts are quite different. Also, when I type my ip address in on Safari and Firefox it will not come up. Safari says "Can not connect to server".

I am connected wirelessly if that makes a difference.

I am new to Macs and completely lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most likely you need to get into the router settings to forward the ports that the WoW installer is using to your computer. I assume... anyways... that it is the WoW installer/updater you are using?

It also could be very slow if your wireless connection is an older standard.
