How does it keep cool?

Does antone know how the Macbook Pro keeps cool?
I can't see any fans etc like my old PC type laptop.
Don't want to overheat it as i've only just got it

Made me curious when I bought mine also.

Rather than vents on the bottom, the fans blow out the slot along the length of the back edge. Why the screen will not go any farther back also. It would cover up the vent.

The fans are very quite wouldn't know if they had stopped working.
Unlike the laptop (very noisy).

You'll notice them when you toss a 3D game or start watching some videos.
Mainly it's the sound of the air though that slot. Not too bothersome at all though.

try the istat widget. It provides you with all sort of useful information, like temperature, fan speed, battery health etc.. really good for monitoring your laptop.
