Stop certain files from showing

Macbook: 2.16 CPU/2GB RAM
How do I set my computer not to share certain folders with others. Like if I share my files on the PC it shows all my applications. what I want is just for other computers to only see my documents folder not any other folder.

MB White 160GB, 2GB RAM,
You need to use folder sharing from System Pref > Sharing. This has been discussed in the forum numerous times.... Pls use search.
