Powermac G4 MDD or Quicksilver to DLP

Hello everyone, I need some help with connecting a G4 867 Quicksilver or MDD 1.25 to a DLP. Is it complicated?

it is a DLP TV. I want to set it up to serve up music, movies etc.

FYI, DVI is video only, you will need a seperate audio connection.

Yup, that's what I do. I have a length of cable that will connect the mini headphones jack from my Mac to a Y splitter with RCA jacks. The audio cords and adapters can be found at Radioshack for $10 total.

Before my Mac Pro, I was using a dual 1GHz G4 MDD machine. The picture and text was readable from 6' away from my 32" TV but it wasnt a super HQ picutre. The 64MB video card it had, I think and 8600, didn't produce a crisp picture. It looked a lot better on both Intel machines I've tried.
Even with my Mac Pro, picture quality is nicer on a standard DVD player for movie watching. The image is a little more jagged or pixelated and the colors are muted.

I've got a 50" Panasonic DLP, hopefully it looks pretty good or I will have to go another route.

Ok, I tried to hook up the Quicksilver to the DLP and it didn't work out. I had to get a VGA to DVI Adapter and then a DVI to HDMI cable to the TV. It isn't working. Should I try something else?

If your TV has VGA, try just using a VGA cable.
What do you mean it doesn't work? It didn't display properly? Did it say no signal?

I don't know what to tell you. I've never seen it not work.
The HDMI port works? All the cables were tested and work? All the connections are secure?
Does your video card not have DVI port?

N/M - It has a VGA and ADC.

VGA -> DVI -> HDMI won't work, because HDMI needs the digital component of DVI, and a VGA - > DVI adaptor would only supply an analog DVI signal.

You can get an ADC to DVI adapter that would supply a DVI-D signal that would work with your DVI -> HDMI adaptor.
