DW CS3 and Firefox hanging / crashing repeatedly

MacBook white, 2.0 Intel Core 2 Duo Pro, 2 GB RAM, 13" screen
Any ideas on how I should start trouble shooting this will be greatly appreciated.

My problem:


  1. DW CS3 and Firefox have started hanging and crashing about 3 weeks ago.
  2. Sometimes they will hang and sometimes outright crash (generating a error report, etc).
  3. I can't see any patterns like what other programs are open, etc.
  4. Sometimes if I quit everything else, DW will work again.
  5. I've found a lot of threads on google about DW and the time change. However this just started, well after the time change.


This is my setup:

  1. I have a MB that was bought new about 12 months ago, 12/2006.
  2. I have 2 M of RAM that I bought about 3 months ago.
  3. About 2 months ago I had the logic board and HD replaced b/c both were defective. :eek:
  4. About 1 month ago I upgraded to DW CS3, first the free trial and last week I purchased it out right.
  5. I ran verify disk and disk warrior both in the last 2 weeks and nothing turned up with any issues or problems.
  6. There are no software updates that need to be done.
