When I try to enable root, via the Directory Utility, I am not getting a place to input a password at all. I know I can use the install disk to change the password, but I was wondering if anyone knew why this is happening.

I had just recently upgraded to 10.5, and I knew my root password from when 10.4 was installed; if that helps. Thanks in advance for any advice. ;D

Thanks for the help. I'll try to fix it with the install disk. Otherwise, I may just do a clean reinstall.
