Upgrading to 10.4....

I have a MDD dual 1.4 G4 running 10.3.9 and I'd like to upgrade to 10.4 and above. Do I need a special install disk or plug-in to go to 10.4 that is not G5 native? I have seen install disks for 10.4 that are for G5's and I'm not sure they will work on my system.

All retail copies of Tiger (10.4) are for PowerPC Macs, so just find yourself a copy of that and you're set.

The disk should be black like this:

Grey ones offered on eBay are restore disks, which are hardware specific and, unless you find the correct disk for your exact Mac model, they won't work.
