iChat Balloon

I just reinstalled my operating system and now am trying to get everything back to the way I like it. In iChat I used to not have the balloons, it looked more like the classic AIM which just had lines of text. Does anybody know where that option is?

I have not used iChat, so i don't know for sure. You have looked in the preferences?

At least in the Leopard version of iChat, if you go up to the toolbar and click the "View" many and then scroll down to messages, there's a variety of choices besides balloons. Hope this helps.

Thats exactly what i was looking for...just had it stuck in my mind that it would be under preferences.
