Does Transmission suck? or is it just the torrents im trying to get?

I heard transmission was the best bittorrent client for mac. so i got it. and im trying to dl about 6 very popular torrents right now and theyre really sucking on the dl speed, if not stopping for long periods of time. Does transmission suck?

Transmission works great for me, I get really good speeds. Perhaps it's a router settings that's throttling your torrent speeds.

Transmission is great with me. It's probably something on your end (firewall settings, port number, isp limiting packets) or you need a better torrent tracker.

I've never found any Mac Torrent client to be all that great to be honest. Then again, the download speed is not really dependent on the App itself but a lot of other factors.

I couldn't get Transmission to do anything decent either. Some ISPs try and restrict torrents, so maybe it's that.

I downloaded Azureus and it worked brilliantly.
