Hello all,
Well I'm new to mac's and I just have a question relating to the punctuality of Apple or maybe not. Anyway lets begin, the shop that I have purchaed my new G5 2.0GHz mac + Ati radion 9700 from has taken the order from me and a small deposit...but that is now well over a month ago and I still haven't received anything from them So I'm in a position at the moment of doing the usual thing of keep ringing them up every other day and asking where it is but all they say is roughly the same 3 things:
1."because I upgraded the gfx card it's now classed as a custom build"
2."Apple don't give out eta's on custom builds"
3."they (apple) don't have anywhere to contact to chase orders up"
now I can believe the first two to some extent but the 3rd sounds like a load of old pants to me...as I've said I'm new to Mac's and have never had any of there products before so I don't know what they are like, re customer relations...is this the kind of treatment Apple give there customers or I'm I being feed a load of bull?
My business is a stake I'm starting to pull my hair out with frustration!!!
