Does ilife08 come preinstalled on new macbook pro computers? I have iphoto08, imovie08, garageband08, iweb08, and idvd08 on my macbook, but I was under the impression that you had to buy a full version? Am I missing something? Are the programs that I already have just trial versions?

They are the full version that come preinstalled. The iWork that is installed is not the full version they are demos.
