I am a media/film student and constantly use final cut pro at my college on PowerMac G5s. I want to use final cut at home though becasue it's annoying only getting to use the system at college and iMovie just won't cut it (awful joke).
Anywayyyy, instead of just putting Final Cut on my Macbook (and upgrading my RAM) i want to connect a 26" LCD tv and use it as an external monitor to preview the footage, I've read some stuff on the internet and I'm wondering, will my system be able to support a HD output? If not HD then how high resolution can I go?
I might just use a normal monitor as a second monitor for a wider display though.
Thanks
