Is there any way, other than copying the music from one computer to another, to add music to my iPod from a shared library on another machine?

I have my music stored on a Mac Mini, which is hooked up to my TV. I also have a Macbook that's my main computer, which I use for pretty much everything other than storing music and movies.

I have shared the iTunes library from the Mini and can happily play music from it on my Macbook, no problem at all. But I'd love to be able to plug my iPod into the Macbook and drag music onto it from the Mini.

Is that possible? I can't seem to find a way to do it, but wondered if you geniuses out there knew of any way of making it happen? Even if 3rd party software or hacks are involved :)

Thanks! :)

Bugger. Not entirely surprising, but a shame it can't be done.

Thanks for your help :)
