Hi,
I had liquid spill 3 weeks back in my macbook and gave it to the apple people for diagnosis, they said the logic board is dead and they need 990 $ to fix it ...

So I thought its better to buy a new one and auctioned it in ebay... and there is just 2 days left b4 the auction ends ,,and today suddenly when i turned on the power button...it booted normally and looked as if everything is normal and but didnt last long, it went off again..this happened 3-4 times ....

please tell me what I should do now, should I just let the aution go or should I wait for some more time and try to fix it with a local mac book service??or what are my other options..

Thanks.

How long have you had the macbook? if it's more than a month old, you might wanna go ahead with the auction and get a new one, cuz Apple changed some of the macbook's specs recently (added a newer board to support i think like 2.2 GHz and 4Gb RAM, and upped the video card's capabilities. They also added a 250GB hdd option). To me, it'd be worth it, but hey, that's just my opinion :Smirk:
