Maybe someone can help me. A few weeks ago I plugged in an external hardrive to my imac. All of a sudden i saw things either downloading of flashing all over the screen. The long and short of all this is when i go to spotlight and type in jpeg all I get a file folder that says desktop and it says I have over 5000 jpeg files. But I cant open them. I clik on them and it says corrupt or cant be opened. I want to delete some of them but I am afraid I want to keep some. Is the folder perhaps locked. When I type in the word desktop in the spotlight this folder appears but I have no idea how to get rid of some of these jpegs. Can someone please advise
