I plan to sell one of my Macs and am wondering how do I
change ownership permissions, paswords, username, etc.
of the mac in osx and iTunes? anywhere else?
Thanx!

Welcome to Mac-Forums, andyb.

The only right thing to do is this: pop in your restore disk, wipe the hard drive and reinstall only the OS and the bundled software. Less tedious and more secure for you.

Hopefully I can find it!
I've moved since I bought it,
so it might be a chore to locate it!

Nevermind! I found the disc.
It's just one disc?
Thanx!
However,
I no longer have a monitor for it(it's a MacPro w/DVI)
Is there a way I can network to it using my MacBookPro
without having to use a monitor on the macPro?
Thanx!

You may find it a greater chore in the long run if you don't.

BEGIN UPDATE: You found it. Congrats!
END UPDATE

Btw, when MHC says wipe the hard drive, she really means it. You'll want to boot to your installation disk and use Disk Utility to wipe it. The security option will allow you to select how many erase passes to run, and there's also an option to wipe empty space, which you should also choose.

Good luck!

i dont have no mac's
you should also choose the 7 pass option for extra security....but get ready for your computer to be formatting itself for close to a day...but trust me it is safe and worth it
