Hi all

Anyone know of a free app that allows you to change your hard disc icon? I changed mine to the silver apple in Tiger, but it did not survive the transition to Leopard. As you can see it is a VERY BORING icon at the moment. :Grimmace:

You don't need any software to change your icon just get a jpeg file with the picture you want as an icon and right click on it then select 'Get info'. Do the same to the drive ie right click and select 'Get info'. Now click on the icon at the top of the Get info window of the jpeg so that it is selected and then hold down the apple key and press C for copy. Now move to the drive's get info window and click on the icon there. Now hold down the apple key and press V for paste. This will give the drive the same icon.
