Title says it all. How's it running for you? Have you found any major apps that aren't working, IE: Mail.app or Safari?

That's a good question. I was wondering the same thing. I believe classic is still working. I need that for my scanner to work. The only applications I am worry about is Sound Studio 2, Toast 5.2, File Maker Pro 6, Photo Shop 6, Illustrator 9, and Final Cut Pro 3.

Installed Panther last night on a second partition. Didn't wanna risk losing anything important. Seems to work OK. Expose is really cool. I haven't really had enough time to mess with it, but I willl try to report stuff when I can.

The install was pretty much the same as Jaguar. The title bars are now solid, which looks pretty cool. Everything seems to run faster. But it is a fresh install, so that may be the reason.

it works well, the finder is gonna take a few weeks to get used to. Expose is really nice, and so is the command+tab enhancements. havent had a chance to try many apps yet or classic for that matter.

ill try to take some good screen shots over the weekend.

on an unrelated note: does the pre-release panther have xcode? I would love some better screenshots of xcode than what was shown on the satellite feed from the keynote. Any first impressions or have you all even used it yet?

note to panther users:

do a custom install and uncheck all the foreign localization files. it cuts off like 10-15 mins of the install process
