Hi Guys, I just got a mac book pro and I plugged in a wired microsoft mouse, it seemed really sticky so I got a new wired laser mouse, and a blue tooth mouse and they both feel the same.
When moving the pointed quickly around the screen its absolutely fine, but when I move it slowly it seems to stick, almost as if its dragging, it certainly slows down. Does anyone know how to fix this, it does it with any mouse I try, wired or wireless (and yes ive tried it on different surfaces)
Im running leopard btw
Cheers guys

Have you tried adjusting your mouse sensitivity settings in the System Preferences?

Also... have you installed any mouse drivers? I don't know if MS makes Mac drivers for their mice, but if they do and you did install, then I suggest uninstalling them and see how it works.

I also recommend a 3rd-party "universal mouse" utility called SteerMouse in lieu of any drivers that you may have installed. It gives you far more control over configuring your mouse. It's not a freebie though. :(

Sorted, thanks! I removed the drivers, which didnt cure it, but downloading the new MS ones did! fortunately they have them for mac!
