Wondering if there's software that will capture video of what you're doing on your computer? I know there's screen "capture" but is there one that'll capture video? Like how Video tutorials are done....

I wouldn't know what it would be called to do a search

Are there any free programs people know of? I wouldn't need anything fancy. I'm also interested in this with my photoshop use, but would prefer not to fork out 70 bucks just to make my tutorials a little better.

I was looking for the same thing, but don't want to fork out $70 for it. It's not that important to me.

And as far as I remember from trialing SnapzProX, it didn't do the audio.

AFIremember, I tried to record a news story off my CNN podcast, and it didn't do the audio, only the video.

It works.... just recorded a YouTube video..... it will also record my own voice laughing at the video..... there are settings you need to check off in order for it to pick up audio as well as when it's finished.. you need to check to include audio track..

When you click on Movie..... click on Auto Mic Gain... when your done recording..... Click on Include Microphone Track.....

I've used a program called Jing.

http://www.jingproject.com/

It captures audio, video, still and puts it all together as a .swf file. You can also host the captures on their site for free or have them on your own computer and host them yourselves. Works quite well. One word of caution though is to use a clean background that doesn't change too often as the file sizes will get quite large.

Its an FLV to mp4, etc website.

That ad in the center is just a distraction, it's not a porn site.
