Hey guys,
I currently have the elgato EyeTv 250 and the picture quality is HORRIBLE.

What do you guys use, how's the picture quality,
and what do you think is the best and why?

Looking into getting something new and if I'm spending the money I'd rather
spend a little more and get whatever is going to give me the best picture.

I think I need a digital tuner.. based on that thread..
but what's better and why the 250 pro or the HD Homerun..

and can i use either or both of these with a comcast digital cable box?

what kind of quality can i expect? will it optimize my 1200 pixels for full 720p quality?

if i get the 250 Plus, and i record live tv..
A- will the recordings remain in high definition
B- can i burn the files to a DVD and keep them in HD?

nobody knows if i record an HD program with the eyetv 250 plus if the recordings remain in high definition....?

I can't confirm with the 250 because I have the hybrid, but I'm sure it's the same...if you record an HD program with an HD antenna, yes it remains in HD. You can burn the HD recordings to a DVD but the DVD won't be played back in HD because that would require an HD DVD and there are no HD DVD drives for mac yet.
