Hello fellow Mac users,
I own a PowerMac G5 PPC and would like to get an external hard drive to copy my Tiger OSX over to it and be able to boot from it as needed. I already own Super Duper, so I know I can make a bootable clone drive.
After reading user reviews on current external hard drives with high failure rates and only 1 year warranties, I’m thinking about going RAID 1 (Mirrored Redundant).
My question is about Newer technology’s The New Guardian Maximus (http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/firewire/usb/raid_1/Gmax)
Has anyone used this? From the limited info I can find, users seem to like it.
I would like to move Tiger on it and play with Leopard on my system's internal hard drives.
