Just bought a new mac book pro and it came with tiger pre installed but with leopard on a disk.

I've looked in my apps folder and I don't seem to have iphoto or iweb idvd etc are these bought separate?

Also is iwork separate to ilife?

thanks

If tiger is installed, you should have iLife along with it. You should also see them in the Dashboard. You will only get a trial version of iWork. This is separate from iLife (equivalent to MS Office).

You should have Ilife on a new mac - ask the dealer you bought it off

Iwork comes installed as a 30 day trail - you have to pay for that, the 30 trail can be downloaded from Apple though

Click the little magnifying glass in the top right corner of your screen and type "iPhoto", if you don't get a result, something's wrong.

Erase and Install was not a great idea.

You should find iLife installer packages on the Tiger discs that came with it.
