Hi,

I'm looking to buy a new macbook - my only question is about the ram. How much ram would be advisable for a macbook running leopard??

I was going to upgrade it to 2gb - is this advisable??

2GB should be sufficient. Generally, by adding memory, you could improve the speed quite significantly. However you should check cheaper sites for buying RAM. Apple prices are ridiculously high..
