Godzilla?? Where can I get a camera phone that shoots video in high quality HD??? ;)

Hopefully it's not one of those that doesn't show you the "monster" until the end. Between that and "I am Legend", I'd rather see the later. (even though the title of the latter sucks)

No, it's not godzilla, I think JJ Abrams already confirmed it isn't.

I'm excited about I am Legend too...;D

Sooper Fast!
The whole movie is shot on hand held cams supposedly, like it's from the people's POV. There's been a ton of specualtion and a lot of people's first thoughts were a Cthulu based movie, which unfortunately were shot down because that would have been awesome.

I remember watching the teaser watching Transformers in the theater. Quite a night.

I *want* to be interested. I saw the teaser after it was released, and it was great! The trailer is okay. Story is everything however, and I wonder how good this one will be.

Also, knowing this is being done as a handheld type movie isn't really appealing. I remember seeing Blair Witch Project in the theatre and finally having to leave after an hour because of what it was doing to my eyes and head. If we are expected to believe there's something attacking NYC that is big enough to rip the head off of the Statue of Liberty and knock over skyscrapers, I think we - as viewers - could also be expected to believe a bunch of young people are filming this event with their own camera(s) without resorting to giving everyone a headache.

I agree...the movie looks interesting, but I hate the shaky, hand-held camera gimmick. The need for 1) a gimmick, and 2) a super hype-y mysterious advertising campaign leads me to wonder if there won't be much substance to the actual movie. I really really hope it's good though!

I agree, I don't think it's going to be as good as all of their hype. But we'll see.
