Flash drive

I am new to Mac with a 24 inch iMac. I am transferring photos from a pc using a flash drive. I know how to delete all the information on the drive with a pc, but I can not figure how to do this on Mac.
I also would like to instal photo shop amd browser icons on the dock. I am using cs3.

You can to delete the files in Finder (Command+Delete) and then empty the trash. Unlike windows, OS X works the same way for flash drives as it does for hard drives. A shortcut for empty trash is (Command + Shift + Delete).

To install icons in the doc, find the programs icon in the applications folder - drag it in to the doc - that's it
