Previous System Folder can be deleted???

Hi,

Just got my Macbook upgraded to Leopard via the Archive and Install option.
After the upgrade completed, I realize I have lost a lot of memory and I finally notice there is a huge PREVIOUS SYSTEM folder which has eaten up my memory.

Can I delete the folder after the upgrade is done??

Yes, once you have used your system a bit and are sure that everything is fine with the install, delete the Previous Systems folder. I left mine in place for about 3 days while I made sure everything was well.

Yes. I leave mine for abut a week just in case, then I dump it.

But, just for future reference - this is typically just referred to as space on your hard drive. Memory in relation to a computer, implies RAM (Random Access Memory) and is totally separate from the storage space (or hard drive size) on your system.
