I'm sure everyone noticed my absence! Haha, well anyway...

Last Tuesday I had surgery on my ankle, they cut one of my bones and added in a good half inch of someone elses... And a nice big staple. So no weight bearing for 6 weeks (which falls exactly on Christmas day)

Recovery is good, getting better at crutching. I was staying with my mom and she helped me with everything, moms are really great to have! I'm thankful. I am also so very thankful for my iPhone! Sitting at a computer is just not something I can do, and no laptops in sight. I surfed the web quite a bit, on edge even bc for some reason it doesn't like my moms wireless.

So yeah! That's where I have been. Exciting to come home to 1.1.2 and the first leopard update too!

Happy thanksgiving everyone.
I am thankful for all of you, it is such a great community here- we are so lucky. And also my family, and great surgeons.

Welcome back lady, I hope you're feeling much better and I hope you continue to get better. Keep it warm :) the cold weather with make it feel strange, I bet. I know with some broken bones it'll make them sore.

Good luck!

Hey ambi! I was going to PM you. AGAIN! ;D

So that's where you were. Pretty heavy stuff! I do hope you get better quickly and I guess you must be taking pain killers or something? Surgery is brutal!

Anyway, heal fast but keep us company in the meantime. :D

welcome back. i wondered what happened to ya. i remember you postin you werent goin ta be able ta walk for a while. someone asked why but i dont remember you answerin him.

so why did ya have surgery? ive never heard of some needing a bone transplant. why not use a metal rod?

at least now you have a reason ta use the scooter at the grocery stores. you can also park in the handicapped spots.
