Hi, I tried searching but nothing turned up.

Somebody once told me that it was not recommended to have a system drive larger than 160 Gb. Is this true?

Specific question:

Power Mac G5 Dual 2.0 Ghz (Late 2005), running Tiger.

I have a 160 Gb system drive and a 320 Gb second drive. Thinking of switching the 320 Gb drive to be the system drive and getting a 500 Gb second drive. Not thinking about upgrading to Leopard anytime soon.

Will this give me any unwanted trouble?

thanks for your help!

Nope, should work just fine. Size matters not.

My boot drive on my Quad is a 500Gb drive with 2 partitions (250Gb each). Works fine.
