First, aside from the cover on the MBP, isn't the rest of the case just made of plastic? Also, along the right edge of the laptop, the seam doesn't completely sit flat and I can push it down just a tiny bit. I know that it a little nitpicking, but it seems like the edge is a little warped. Would that be covered? I just bought the refurb last week. Would I have to ship it back to California? Or, could I go to the local Apple Store.

My MBP screen has been warped from Day 1. I've had this laptop for over a year now and haven't had any problems, except I think the right side hinge for the screen is getting loose. Nothing a screwdriver can't fix though.

My advice is to just ignore it, you'll get over it. I don't think it's something to send into Apple about it considering I hear that almost every MBP owner has the same thing.

I believe that most of the casing is aluminum.
