Sound Problem on MB

I noticed when I first got my MB the sound was good when I put in a cd and tested it out. I just recently put in a cd to listen to it again since the first time I tested it and the sound seemed to drop dramatically, when the song came on someone said "I like that song turn it up" I replied "okay" but noticed it was maxxed out what happened to the sound? Did anyone else experience this problem?

Nothing like this no.
The sound is rather quiet compared to other laptops out there. I switched from a Toshiba PC laptop, and was blown away with how low the volume option was on the macbook. However, I never noticed it actually get lower over the course of ownership.

You may want to call support, or have it looked at.
