i'm running Leopard on my MacBook with Bootcamp. on the other side is XP. If i want to reinstall my Leopard os, what do i need to do first? Is reinstalling leopard going to affect XP? Or will i have to reformat the xp drive again and reinstall xp also?

Put my Leopard disk in while booted up in Tiger.
Had an expired beta of Bootcamp Assistant.
Did a clean install of Leopard.
Afterwards booted into my existing XP partition and let the Leopard disk autorun to update the windows drivers.
Not a problem.

If you want to reinstall Leopard (which you shouldn't need to since you've just put it one), your XP partition will be unaffected.
