New to this forum and wanted to know if anyone has ever increased there processor speed and how? I'm on:
Machine Name: iBook G4
Machine Model: PowerBook6,3
CPU Type: PowerPC G4 (3.3)
Number Of CPUs: 1
CPU Speed: 800 MHz
L2 Cache (per CPU): 256 KB

Welcome to the Forums. There is no way to increase CPU speed in Macs. There is no way to overclock and there is no way to swap the CPU. It's soldered to the logic board.

Unfortunately it would cost more to get a new Logic Board then what your computer is worth, and it's going to be pretty expensive for someone to put it in. My advice is simple, sell your iBook and buy a used MacBook.
