regional english packs

i just used monolingual to delete the language packs that i don't need and managed to retrieve around 3 G of space. anyways i noted that the english language had different regional packs under it eg american, australian etc. these were checked off by default. the main english pack was not checked. without thinking too much about this i went ahead and deleted them leaving only the main english pack. everything seems to be working fine but does deleting those regional english packs have negative repercussions?

using pacifist to look into my leopard install disc, i did not see any of those packs in the language folders. do i need to re-install them?
