Hi everyone, hope you can help, I'm have a iMac5,1 running Mac OSX 10.4.11 and have been trying to copy a DVD, I used MacThe Ripper to extract the Video TS files so they would fit onto a 4.5 DVD, but what do I do next? I've tried to burn them onto disc but just get a duplicate of the original files, and iDVD wont accept them to burn onto a DVD playable disc.
Do I need another program to burn these files so that I can play them back on my home DVD player.
I would be so grateful for any advice.

The reason no-one has answered this one is that you appear to be wanting to copy a protected DVD

You need an App like Toast to burn them back to the correct DVD format.

Toast 8 will resize (shrink) to fit to a smaller DVD.

Thanks everyone for your advice and help, it has really been appreciated, this morning I burnt my first DVD successfully, and no it was not my main intention to pirate DVD's as mentioned.
The DVD I copied was that of old Cini/video files that had been put onto a DVD disc and was too large to copy onto a normal 4.5gb disc.

Cheers. William
