Mail - can it connect to webmail- help

Hi All

I am still finding out all about the Mac and associated programs and one that I do not like is Entourage. Currently I have Entourage synched to my work webmail but its all over the place, two inboxes drives me insane!!
Is it possible for Mail to connect to a webmail account?

what provider are you using?
if you are talking about hotmail/live mail and are on leopard you are out of luck...the mail plugin httpmail is not compatible with leopard mail yet but it probably will be updated soon.

i was talking about exchange server webmail, but after playing around and tweaking Entourage it seems as if its the best option?
