MBP too heavy to carry with me every day?

I take my MBP with me everywhere, in a backpack. The MBP is so light, compared to my 17" alienware which weighs close to 20lbs.

I have a 15inch MBP and I carry round school all day everyday. I love it. I have a soft case and that just goes into my normal bag/rucksack.

I looked at the macbook because of weight but got the mbp. Its fine and not too heavy

I have a 17 inch powerbook that i don't take anywhere. it is too big and heavy. lol. get a 15 inch!
