I love Safari but the one thing that gets on my nerves is that when I open links it does so in a new window not a new tab.

I have already set it so that application links open in a new tab in the existing window, but how do I make it so that all links that normally open in new windows open in new tabs?

I think the Safari extension Saft can let you redirect all target = 'blank' windows to a new tab...

I downloaded it and it did the trick! Thanks.

Apple should really work that one simple checkbox into the browser though!

Why do you nedd extra software when the feature is built-in in Safari ? Cmd+, tabs
I just command click on a link and it opens in a new tab
