I spilled water on my MacBook and it needs it's logic board replaced. Apple said they could do this for about $780. I was just wondering if there is a cheaper option or if it could even get it sold on ebay for parts? Any suggestions? I hate to see it sitting there getting no use and collecting dust.
Thank you

I would be tempted to take it apart and dry it out fully in an airing cupboard, just to see if it helps. Apple seem all too keen to replace logic boards!
Failing that, there is a good market for these things on ebay, and you would likely see between £150 and £200 for it.
I bought my iBook there, with a logic board fault - cost me 18p to fix!
