Hello,

The last couple of weeks I've experienced an increasing frequency of kernel panics. It all started the 25. October (yes, the day before Leopard release) - when I without any warning got a kernel panic. I don't exactly remember what I did before the incident, but the following weekend it happened about 5-10 times. Before this weekend I've only seen it maybe 5 og 6 times (in two and a half years!). The next week my computer also refused to boot properly, and I was forced to install Ubuntu (I was luckily able to do some backup before I formatted). I ran Ubuntu a couple of days without any several problems (of course the PPC-processor is a **** in Linux), so I decided to install Tiger again. The installation worked out nicely, and I thought the problem were solved.

But no. Today I'm in an entirely clean system (I did of course do a clean install), but with the same problems. The system is very unstable and is halting when I try to launch applications needing any graphic resources (this could be a wmv-/avi-movie, Grapher or some Java applets). Some times the computer won't even boot, it just shows me a kernel panic before the login windows appears.

So, I've managed to localize the problem as the graphic card. The output I get after boot when a kernel panic has occured confirms this, the whole error is to be found below.

I appreciate any kind of help, and if I've missed something on Google I'm sorry.

Code:
panic(cpu 0 caller 0x00099CB8): mapping_remove: hw_rem_map failed - pmap = 00367000, va = 0000000000002000, code = 010DC082
