This upgrade has been great but have recently had issues installing new applications. I have 10.4.10 installed and 320MB RAM.
Basically what is happening..for example attempting to install the iTunes 7.5 update or TiVo desktop...the installer begins to load but then it quits...and asks if I want to reopen...but then will just quit again.
My troubleshooting has included - restoring to a previous image I'd created...permission repair (and other disk utility functions) and now I'm using Disk Warr. to rebuild my directory (still processing).
Any thoughts? I was able to install other apps previously like Firefox, Adium etc. but now even smaller apps will not install. I've heard previously that doing some type of install on Lombard forced users to remove some RAM but I've also tried doing that...no dice.
